11th June 2004 Windsurfing: Portland Wind Direction: W Wind Stength: 12-15knts Surf / Sea State: Flat Air Temperature: Toasty Sea Temperature: Warming.... Weather: Sunny! Max Speed: Distance Covered: Had a great day remembering how to pump. Push off down wind then back up wind once going. Damn hard work, but had a great day all the same. Sitting here sunburnt and very very happy. I even managed to get around about 80% of my carve gybes! Got the summer suit out for its first outing - so much movement! Thinking hard about a longer fin to aid getting up wind, and an even bigger sail (8.5 lightning?) to aid these marginal days. |
